Tina graduated from Alverno College in the spring 2008 with a Master’s of Art in Administrative Leadership and Director of Instruction. As a teacher, Tina saw that many gay and lesbian youth were facing harassment at school. Inspired by the Harvey Milk High School in New York, she started The Alliance School, a school dedicated to serving the needs of LGBT youth and others who experience harassment. She was honored with the Educator of the Year Award from GSA for Safe Schools Wisconsin.
